Colonel Draker Flense was the commanding officer of the Jantine Patricians Regiment, and ally of Lord-General Hechtor Dravere. Flense was revealed to be the son of the former Jantine commander, General Aldo Dercius, but changed his name due to the dishonour suffered as a result of Dercius's exposure and death on Khedd 1173. A vicious enemy of Gaunt and the Tanith First, Flense attempted to destroy them en route to victory on Fortis Binary before later becoming a part of the Vermillion Conspiracy.
